While he is on one stage after another since two years, accompanying bands as Wax Tailor on their 2017 s tour, ProleteR joins Banzai Lab s crew presenting « Life Playing Tricks », his first release on a label, after years of successful selfproductions (more than 30 million views on Youtube !).
« The project s tracks are survivors, they kept their ranking between about fithty demos. » ProleteR
Here, we find his expert s touch by cleverly mixing several sonorous universes and drawing his energetic beatmaker inspirations on music history s resources.
Fasten your seatbelts, Proleter picks you up by your sharpy ears and gets you into his universe !
« Destiny » puts an emphasis on a super funky Detroit, we are thinking of Onra, Gramatik, The Geek &Vrv. With « Alone After All » we first enter on tip-toe, in a retro magical universe, with an enigmatic atmosphere. Silence, and here comes a gigantic funky drop with a swinging rythm and catchy riff. « Circus » probably recorded in the « City of Lost Children » s studio, where we can see a serenade between Pinocchio and a pink elephant. We imagine a procession of his imaginary s characters, a dreamer s view as the father in Tim Burton s movie Big Fish.
Far from rubbish, Proleter is this enchanted flute player that everyrone follows, at a firm step, rocking their head up. We assure that those 6 tracks will be ahead of your summer playlist, in front of the sea, during your long trips or cheeky parties.

After listening to Degiheugi's large discography, my choice settled on this album. It seems to me to be the most successful. I appreciate the richness of hiphop trip-pop jazzy-chill nu-soul sounds. The French vocal are amazing. jef37
