about

A côté d’un Run It,

lyrics

Verse 1 :
You say that you never wanted us
And we could be richer if we were home
you know cannot live on your own
The raw materials are in our land
I’ve been going thru a fuckin' storm
I didn't know who the fuck i am
I found my self in this rappin' shit
Don't count on me to present a flag
Don't count on me to be proud of you
Even tho i'm livin' by your hand out
Cause of you my brothers got there head down
You ignore the pain that always Hangs out
Feel like is always the same
Do this shit really gon' change ?
In my mind's started to rain
I try to keep up the flame

Hook :
We live it we live it go thru it
Don't know what we have to do it
(x3)
Tell me really what's wrong
In try to out of a storm
We live it we live it go thru it
Don't know what we have to do it
(x3)

Verse 2 :
dust in the air and the eyes that stings
Is hard to fly even with some wings
I really see how no fucks you give
it's so ridiculous
And it's obvious
That you careless about our case
You make me feel like it ain' t my place
So you complain when we claimin'; our parents origins
But really, who's to blame ?
How can i love a mobster who took my ancestors away from there homes
And Reduce 'em to slavery
How can i love as you do intellectuals

Who Insaulted my Community
you chaisin' only what's in your intrest
When we speak 'bout it  you' re distant
Every single person is a witness
I Hope for you in you will ask forgivness
I just wanted some love
But they said i'm a dirty nigga
And a high potential terrorist
Only a few can relate to this
It's in there names that i speak up
By this song i wanna link up
I don't lookin' for your pitty
only respect
Cause right now niggaz are riled up
I know you will never accept us
And a lot of yours would
But they don't understand the process
That's going on in the hood
Yeah we're in the same run
But not with the same shoes
So we hangin' on our Roots
Black exellence our truth

Hook :
We live it we live it go thru it
Don't know what we have to do it
(x3)
Tell me really what's wrong
In try to out of a storm
We live it we live it go thru it
Don't know what we have to do it
(x3)
